A -Neratius

L. Neratius Priscus(301) was active under Trajan (98-117) and Hadrian (117-138). He was the successor to Celsus as head of the Proculian school. His only contribution to the Digest on a maritime issue is a paragraph on the landowner’s right to obtain security from the owner of a raft, which was carried ashore by the rising river and thereby causing damages to the property. The paragraph is excerpted from Responsorum(302)
