The ordinary partnership is a form of partnership under Turkish law that affords the greatest degree of autonomy to the parties involved. It is often favored due to the simplicity of its formation and operation. However, the dissolution of such partnerships is not without complexity. Disputes arising from the termination process are a natural consequence of the litigation concerning the dissolution and liquidation of the ordinary partnership, with the liquidation being managed by the courts. This paper examines the arbitrability of general partnerships in light of these issues, and explores how the liquidation process affects the suitability of such partnerships for arbitration.…
