With the rapid development of technology and the more complex legal processes, legal information design has begun to be conceptualized under the name of “legal design” with some studies carried out in recent years. The concept of “legal design”, referred to as “legal design” in this article, is a holistic design method that combines design ideas with legal problems and brings the tools and techniques of a human-centered design approach to legal information, products, and services. Legal design basically aims to make legal processes more understandable, based entirely on text weight, through visualization. Legal design (particularly the design of legal texts, generally of all legal processes) serves to create a more effective legal system and better understand the necessary legal information for the laypeople. Facilitating access and application to legal information and legal processes and services facilitates individuals’ access to justice. Today, it is considered that access to justice has a broader meaning than access to court. Although it is a difficult concept to define, access to justice, on the one hand, expresses a judicial human right; on the other hand, it is a holistic concept and represents all the mechanisms that ensure the effective use of the right. Facilitating access to justice by removing barriers is a complex and multidimensional issue that extends from legal education to practice. It should be accepted that design is a part of this multifaceted issue and that the discipline of design, when used correctly, can facilitate access to justice.…
